TFL Update: Winnie-the-Pooh and a Survey, Too

tfl-update

Let’s start this week’s TFL Update with a contest!  As you may have heard, a brand-new Winnie-the-Pooh book has been released.  Return to the Hundred Acre Wood (Penguin) is the first authorized sequel to the works of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard, and we have a copy of this new release ready to give away!  All you need to do to enter is comment on this story or Tweet it using this link: Win the new Winnie-the-Pooh book! (via @thefatherlife) We’ll announce the winner October 22, 2009.

And the winning continues… Researchers at Indiana State University would like the input of dads regarding attitudes towards women, men, and the roles we play.  A select number of participants in the survey will receive $25 gift cards to Amazon.com.  The survey only takes a few minutes, it’s for a good cause, and, hey, who couldn’t use an Amazon.com gift card?  You can take the survey here: Take the Survey

Finally, a little product announcement.  If you’ve got kids in pre-school and early grade school ages, you no doubt are familiar with car booster seats… and the need to shuffle them from vehicle to vehicle.  There’s now an inexpensive, yet safe and comfortable option available: the LiteRider by Harmony Juvenile.  Priced under $15, you can now afford to keep booster seats in every vehicle you own… and maybe even an extra for when you’re shuttling your kid’s best friend around, too. The LiteRider is available direct from the manufacturer and also at your local Wal-Mart. the end
