So long and thanks for all the fish.

When we started The Father Life in 2007, there was almost no content available for the dad community in print or online. We set out to change that. At its zenith, TFL was publishing new content daily, all of it written with dads in mind. We were getting noticed by big, established brands and publications. We were going somewhere.

A funny thing happened, though. As our families grew, we found ourselves spending more time actually living “the father life,” leaving us less time to keep TFL going and growing. Looking back, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Spending time with our families is the best investment we’ll ever make.

The Father Life is ceasing publication, effective immediately. All of the content we have published to date will remain available here at thefatherlife.com for as long we can keep it functional, but we will not be adding any new articles. There are many writers who have contributed excellent content over the years — content the deserves to remain available. Special thanks go to Chris Osburn, Howard Ludwig, Jeremy Schneider, Bruce Sallan, Andy Falk, Sean Baker, Scott Lax, Troglodad, and Greg Yost for the many articles they contributed.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

Grateful,

Ben Murphy, Founder
