With the NFL playoffs in full swing, we didn’t really need an excuse to have a pizza/football party. But we found one anyway. Collective Bias, working with Digiorno, offered me the opportunity to do a blog post about throwing a football pizza party for less than $5/person. I accepted the challenge!

I found it pretty easy to stay on budget for this party. The Digiorno pizza was on rollback at Walmart, making it nearly the same price as the store brand pizza. The only challenge was limiting myself to just four pizzas… I wanted to try them all! Everything else we wanted came in under budget, and there was plenty of food for everyone. The kids were especially excited about the milkshakes, but who wouldn’t be!

In the end, we had a great time. The food was great. The football was even good! Grace, my second daughter, was thrilled to be able to see her team – the Bears – playing. Their games are rarely on TV in our part of the country. Them winning was just a bonus! Nearly everyone in our house hates has a very, very strong dislike for the Patriots, so it was great to watch them lose to the Jets.

So, Digiorno, want to do this again next weekend? And again two weeks after that?
