Your description of what a gift your son's speech is to you touched me very deeply. Our second daughter was born with a cleft palate and has had to work very hard to get to where she is today. She will be three in March and we are so thankful everytime she speaks and hams it up. It's so hard to feel anything but blessed when she tells us a story about Pooh Bear, naptime, or a new boo-boo. Thank you for sharing your experience!
